Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026 · Last updated: September 5, 2026

1. Introduction

MOPLY (“MOPLY”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at getmoply.com and the MOPLY web application — a platform that helps cleaning businesses create a professional online presence (a business page with their services, service areas, photos, reviews, and an estimate calculator) and connect their advertising accounts.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use MOPLY — as a business owner creating an account, or as a visitor of a business page hosted on MOPLY — how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.

2. Information You Provide to Us

Account and authentication information

When you create a MOPLY account we collect your name, email address, and a password. Your password is stored only as a secure cryptographic hash — we never store or see your plain-text password. We also record that you accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and when.

If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create or sign in to your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Business information

To build your business presence we store the information you enter in Business Setup: your business name, owner name, business phone number, business email, city and state, optional ZIP code, service areas, services you offer, business hours, and social media handles.

Page content and media

We store the content you create for your business page — headline, about text, service descriptions, estimate pricing configuration, design choices (template and colors), and contact-action preferences — as well as the media you upload or create: photos, videos, GIFs, Before & After image pairs, and your logo (uploaded or generated with AI assistance).

Support communications

If you contact us for help, we collect the information you include in that communication so we can respond.

3. Information from Visitors of Business Pages

Customer reviews

When a visitor submits a review on a business page, we collect the name they provide, their star rating, and their review text. To prevent spam and repeated abuse we also create a one-way cryptographic hash of the visitor’s IP address together with a timestamp. The hashed IP is never shown publicly and cannot be reversed to identify the visitor. Approved reviews (name, rating, and text) are displayed publicly on the business page.

Estimate calculator

The estimate calculator on a business page runs entirely in the visitor’s browser. The details a visitor enters (property type, size, frequency, extras) are not transmitted to or stored by MOPLY. If the visitor chooses to contact the business — by call, text message (SMS), WhatsApp, or email — that communication happens directly between the visitor and the business, outside MOPLY.

Maps

Business pages may display maps powered by OpenStreetMap. The visitor’s browser loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which may receive standard technical information (such as the visitor’s IP address) under OpenStreetMap’s own privacy policy.

4. Information Collected Automatically

Security and technical information

To protect accounts we use the sign-in IP address together with the email address to detect and limit repeated failed sign-in attempts (temporary lockouts). This record is cleared after a successful sign-in. Like most online services, our servers also keep standard technical logs (such as browser type, device type, and request timestamps) used for security, debugging, and reliability.

Cookies and browser storage

MOPLY uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session (authentication and session cookies). Sign-in sessions last up to 7 days. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage. MOPLY itself does not set advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

Our hosting platform may collect standard usage analytics (such as pages visited and approximate device and browser information) to operate and improve the service.

5. Subscription and Billing Information

The MOPLY Founding Member subscription ($55/month) is processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout and are processed by Stripe — MOPLY never sees, collects, or stores your full card number. We store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your subscription status, and your billing period dates, so we can manage your membership.

Advertising spend is separate from your MOPLY subscription. Advertising budgets are paid directly by you to the advertising platforms (such as Google or Meta). MOPLY never holds, manages, or processes your advertising funds.

6. Advertising Integrations

If you choose to connect a Google Ads or Meta advertising account, we store the connection details needed to operate the integration: the advertising account you select, your advertising configuration (chosen services, service areas, and daily budget), and the connection status. Advertising access tokens are encrypted at rest and are never displayed back to you or anyone else. You can disconnect an advertising account at any time, which removes the stored connection.

Your use of Google Ads or Meta is governed by those platforms’ own terms and privacy policies: Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

7. AI-Assisted Features

When you use MOPLY’s AI assistance — for example to draft your headline, About section, service descriptions, service-area suggestions, or logo concepts — the business information you have entered is processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Google Gemini) through our platform infrastructure, solely to generate the content you requested.

Please do not submit other people’s personal information to AI features. AI-generated content is a starting point: review it carefully before publishing, because you are responsible for the content that appears on your page.

8. Transactional Emails

We send a small number of service emails — a welcome email, subscription confirmations and cancellations, and password reset links — using our email delivery provider, Resend. To deliver these reliably and prevent duplicates, we keep a delivery record containing the recipient address, subject, and delivery status.

We do not send marketing newsletters, and we will never ask for your password or card details by email.

9. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and secure your account and keep you signed in
  • Build, preview, publish, and host your public business page
  • Store and serve your photos, videos, logo, and other page content
  • Provide the estimate calculator, customer reviews, and contact actions on your page
  • Generate AI-assisted content when you request it
  • Connect your advertising accounts and save your advertising configuration
  • Process your MOPLY subscription through Stripe
  • Send transactional emails about your account and subscription
  • Prevent spam, fraud, and abuse (for example sign-in lockouts and review anti-spam)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the service

10. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate MOPLY, and only as needed:

  • Hosting and database infrastructure — to store and serve the platform and your content
  • Stripe — subscription payment processing (card details go directly to Stripe)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Google — Google sign-in and, if you connect it, Google Ads (Google’s Privacy Policy)
  • Meta — if you connect it, Meta advertising (Meta’s Privacy Policy)
  • OpenAI and Google — AI-assisted content and logo generation, through our platform infrastructure
  • OpenStreetMap — map display and geographic boundaries for service areas

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of MOPLY, our users, or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you before your information is transferred under different privacy practices).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

11. Publicly Displayed Information

When you publish your business page, the information on it becomes publicly accessible at your page URL: your business name, phone, email, city and state, service areas, services, business hours, social media links, photos and videos, approved customer reviews, and estimate pricing. Anyone — including search engines — may access a published page.

You can unpublish your page at any time from the Page Builder, which removes it from public access. Approved reviews are part of your public page; you control which reviews are approved for display.

12. Data Retention

We keep your account and business information for as long as your account is active so the service can operate. Some records expire automatically: sign-in sessions last up to 7 days, password reset links expire after 1 hour, and advertising connection handshakes expire after about 10 minutes.

If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at support@getmoply.com and we will process your request. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

13. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, encrypted storage of advertising access tokens, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but protecting your information is a responsibility we take seriously.

14. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You can access and update most of your information directly in your MOPLY account (Business Setup and Page Builder). You can disconnect advertising accounts, unpublish your page, or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.

Depending on the state or region where you live, you may have additional privacy rights — for example the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@getmoply.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

15. Children’s Privacy

MOPLY is a business service intended for adults who operate or represent a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@getmoply.com and we will delete it.

16. International Data Transfers

MOPLY is operated from the United States, and your information is processed in the United States. Some of our service providers may process information in other countries. By using MOPLY you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example by email or a notice in the app).

18. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, contact us at support@getmoply.com.
